MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Teleport operator US Electromagnetics Inc. (USEI) has put on hold a pioneering deployment of satellite optical ground stations from startup manufacturer Cailabs of France because of a lack of response by prospective USEI government customers.
USEI said it remains confident in the Cailabs technology and is hopeful that at some point a US government agency will be willing to help finance an initial tryout of the technology.
