PARIS — Are satellite hardware providers confident enough in the current boom to invest in new capacity? Are their supply chains keeping up?
Five European and US providers with established businesses — Anywaves, CesiumAstro, Dcubed, Orbion Space Technology and ThrustMe — all answered “Yes!” to the first question. The second is more complicated as they prepare for increased orders from constellation projects, government and commercial, and face the need for higher production volumes.
