There’s never been a better time to be a German New Space company. Reflex Aerospace is Exhibit A

BERLIN — There has never been a better time to be a New Space company in Germany, especially if you have proved your hardware in orbit and demonstrated an ability to raise capital.

That’s the case for Reflex Aerospace of Munich, which launched its first satellite, the 109-kg SIGI, in January 2025. It is a technology demonstration satellite performing a diverse mission, including Earth observation for Germany’s Media Broadcast Satellite.
