IoT startup Myriota raises $19.3M, gains Canada foothold with purchase of 4 exactEarth cubesats, spectrum licenses

UPDATE APRIL 6: Satellite IoT constellation startup Myriota PTY Ltd., less than a week after purchasing in-orbit assets from a Canadian maritime-surveillance company, concluded a $19.3-million Series B financing round, bringing its total funding to more than $37 million.

Hostplus and Main Sequence Ventures led the investment round, which included In-Q-Tel, former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, Right Click Capital, Singtel Innov8, Boeing Horizon X and South Australian Venture Capital Fund.
