Harris Corp. sees U.S. military/classified smallsat demand going from 10s now to 100s in short order

PARIS — Harris Corp., best known for deployable satellite antennas and its role in large-scale U.S. government programs including GPS-3 and MUOS, said three of its smallsats launched in 2018 and that 17 more are under construction.

Only one of the three — HSAT, a 6u cubesat to test high-speed communications launched on India’s PSLV rocket in November — has been made public. The other two are for classified U.S. government customers.
