Phase Four books smallsat electric-propulsion unit orders with Tyvak and Capella Space

PARIS — Startup small-satellite electric propulsion builder Phase Four appears to have stolen the march on its many competitors by signing contracts with smallsat builder Tyvak Nano-Satellite Systems Inc. and startup radar satellite constellation builder Capella Space.

California-based Phase Four said first deliveries to both companies is scheduled for this year, at which point Phase Four will have established a production line capable of producing 10-20 of its Maxwell thrusters per month.
