TUPPER LAKE, NY — It’s too early to say whether Intuitive Machines’ $853.3-million purchase of large-satellite builder Maxar Space Systems was a good deal.
But the recently announced $600-million order for three geostationary-orbit satellites, to be delivered within 30 months, has buttressed the company’s ambition to manage a balanced portfolio of commercial, civil government and national security customers.
