LA PLATA, Maryland — Rocket and satellite hardware manufacturer Firefly Aerospace, whose current business is heavily weighted toward providing satellite systems for US civil and government customers — including five lunar missions now in development — said it would launch just two more Firefly Alpha rockets this year, not the three previously announced, despite heavy demand.
Firefly on Aug. 11 reported record $117.7 million in revenue for the three months ending June 30, an increase of 45.5% from the previous quarter. The company said its backlog stood at $1.5 billion and it reaffirmed . . .
