LA PLATA, Maryland — Airbus officials said the company’s space division, which had booked multiple program cost overruns and write downs in 2024, has successfully met its financial rebound targets and is well-positioned to reap the benefits of surging demand from European governments.
In a July 21 investor conference in London, Airbus management did not break down Q2 2026 performance, which will be detailed on July 29 during the company's Q2 results release. But the recent positive improvement in profitability is improving faster than the company had forecast.
