Mobile satcom terminal & service provider Ovzon reports double-digit rev, EBITDA increase, still considering 2nd satellite

TUPPER LAKE, NY — Swedish satellite operator and mobile satcom terminal manufacturer Ovzon reported a 48% increase in revenue and a 38% increase in EBITDA for the three months ending June 30 compared to a year ago, with operating profit and cash flow also posting substantial increases.

In a July 17 investor presentation, Chief Executive Per Norén said orders booked during the quarter, at 76 million Swedish krona ($7.9 million), were lower than expected as expected bookings “took longer than anticipated.”
