Viasat: Positive free cash flow by mid-2026; $1.3B in capex in next 12 months will drop as 2 final Viasat-3 sats are launched

LA PLATA, Maryland — Satellite broadband service provider Viasat Inc. said it expects to launch its two final Viasat-3 terabit-per-second satellites in time for them to enter service in early 2026, a year the company said its fixed broadband business will stabilize while its maritime business will return to growth.

In a May 20 investor call and financial statement on the company’s fiscal-year 2025 results — the Viasat fiscal year ends March 31 — Viasat presented FY 2026 as “the launch year for multi-year earnings growth” and free . . .
