Viasat on moving bandwidth from consumer to aero broadband, SpaceX Starlink market impact, and Inmarsat deal

PARIS — Viasat Inc.’s satellite services business grew 40% in the three months ending Dec. 31, and EBITDA grew 28%, compared to the same period a year ago as aircraft equipped with Viasat’s in-flight-connectivity service grew 53%, to 1,800 planes.

The new aircraft included 300 Delta Air Lines jets.
