Satellogic confirms $50M financing round from Tencent, Pitanga Fund, IDB Lab; 2 satellites to launch in January

PARIS — Geospatial imagery startup Satellogic closed a $50 million funding round from previous investors Tencent of China and Pitanga Fund of Brazil and new backers including IDB Lab, affiliated with the Inter-American Development Bank.

The latest round brings Satellogic’s total financing to $110 million, which the company has said is enough to reach cash-flow break even. Satellogic has said it expected to end 2019 with about $80 million in advance bookings: http://bit.ly . . .
