Satellite antenna startup Anywaves signs 5-year supply deal with Airbus; says NewSpace needs contracts, not subsidies

LE BOURGET, France — Startup satellite-antenna builder Anywaves, in what maybe a breakthrough deal, has won a contract with Airbus Defence and Space to provide an initial eight S-band antennas for the Airbus-built CO3D constellation of medium-resolution Earth observation satellites.

The initial order, enough to equip four CO3D satellites, is part of a five-year umbrella contract with Airbus for future CO3D and other Airbus-built satellites with S-band antennas. Anyways said it has committed to Airbus to dliver "10s of antennas per order." Two . . .
