Mobile satcom ground antenna builder C-Com reports lower sales, maintains R&D effort on phased-array design

CUNCY-LES-VARZY, France — Satellite ground antenna builder C-Com Satellite Systems Inc. reported lower revenue for the three months ending May 31, blaming the Covid pandemic’s effects on sales and the weakness in the energy sector for sharp reductions in revenue from Canada, Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Increased sales in the United States, Europe and Australia were not enough to offset to declines elsewhere. Revenue for the three months totaled 837,000 Canadian dollars ($693,000), down 20% from the same period a year ago. The company said 79% of its quarterly . . .
