Luxembourg government, private sector on space investment boom and its side effects

PARIS — An Capricorn Investment Group principal downplayed worries of a space-sector investment bubble. The former CEO of DigitalGlobe said there is one and it could be dangerous. Luxembourg’s prime minister said the public-private partnership that created SES remains valid today, and Lockheed Martin’s space chief called for international regulations on space debris.

A panel discussion titled “The Space Economy Takes Off” held Jan. 23 at the World Economic Forum had just four participants, but it illustrated the full range of space sector sentiment.
