L3Harris: Four years ago we had 5 satellites in development; today we have 50; space revenue has grown 50%

TUPPER LAKE, NY — L3 Technologies and Harris Corp. merged in July 2019 with the ambition to move from subcontractor to prime contractor for U.S. government space programs. At the time, the merged company had five satellites under contract, most of the experimental demonstrator missions.

Four years later, L3Harris has 50 satellites under construction, including two classified constellations and multiple orders for the U.S. Space Development Agency (SDA).

Space division revenue is up 50% over four years and now posts . . .
