LA PLATA, Maryland — Mobile satellite services provider Globalstar Inc. said it still expects to take deliver of all 17 replacement satellites ordered in 2022 from MDA Space but that only one of the two launches of them had been booked.
Globalstar and MDA Space in 2022 signed a contract valued at $329.3 million for the construction of the 17 satellites, with Rocket Lab as a major subcontractor for the satellite platforms.
