LA PLATA, Maryland — Europe’s meteorological satellite organization, the 30-nation Eumetsat, is doubling down on the use of small satellites and NewSpace assets, renewing a pioneering contract with smallsat builder/operator Spire Global and making further investment in small satellites for its own fleet.
