SpaceLink CEO on new satellite data-relay architecture and plans for Series A financing round this year

PARIS -- Startup satellite data-relay service provider SpaceLink, which plans four satellites in medium-Earth- orbit using optical inter-satellite links to speed high volumes of user traffic around the world, has pulled back on its initial plans to focus on a smaller constellation:

The new Block 0 architecture is estimated to cost $240 million including the ground segment and to be ready for service before Jun 2024, the milestone deadline given by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission . . .
