LA PLATA, Maryland — The proposed merger of Europe’s three biggest space hardware companies — Airbus Space, Thales Alenia Space and Leonardo Space — has drawn surprisingly little negative reaction from the companies’ labor unions and competitors.
Governments have been notably silent on the transaction, called Bromo, with the exception of France and italy and a favorable assessment from the European Commission’s head of defense and space policy, Andrius Kubilius.
