LA PLATA, Maryland — Swedish satellite operator and mobile terminal manufacturer for military and public-service agencies Ovzon AB secured the largest contract in its history, a 24-month service and hardware deal with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV).
The contract is valued at 1.038 billion Swedish krona ($110 million), of which 21% is for the purchase of Ovzon on-the-move and on-the-pause mobile terminals and 79% for satellite capacity.
Apparently FMV wanted the deal to go through a Swedish company . . .
