Lockheed’s bid for smallsat builder Terran Orbital suggests what it has concluded about the $2.4B Rivada contract

LA PLATA, Maryland — What does Lockheed Martin’s cash offer to purchase small satellite builder Terran Orbital say about the status of Terran’s $2.4 billion contract with Rivada Space Networks for a 300-satellite broadband constellation?

On the surface: Absolutely nothing. Lockheed Martin’s non-binding offer letter to Terran does not mention Rivada. But it does say this:

“[W]e are confident that we will continue to be the largest revenue-generating customer for Terran for the foreseeable future.”
