OHB: 2023 revenue, profit up, but backlog down on slower ESA contract processing; concerns about Iris2

LAMPOLDSHAUSEN, Germany — Rocket and satelilte hardware and service provider OHB SE met its ambitious growth targets for 2023, with revenue and profit posting double-digit increases and continued growth expected in the coming two years.

But as the company had warned, its end-year backlog was down despite the late-2022 ministerial conference of the European Space Agency (ESA) at which several programs involving OHB were approved.

These conferences occur every three years, and usually result in OHB’s orders spiking up in the year . . .
