With $128M in funding, Spanish startup PLD is 5th European launcher startup to clear financial-credibility hurdle

LAMPOLDSHAUSEN, Germany — Spanish small-satellite launch startup PLD Space said a recent funding round has brought total funding to 120 million euros ($128 million), becoming the fifth European small-launcher to have surpassed $100 million in resources or otherwise demonstrated near-term financial credibility.
