UK government, via ESA, invests $8.4M in carbon-neutral efforts of startup launch operators Orbex and HyImpulse

LA PLATA, Maryland — Two small-launcher startups planning to operate from Scotland, Orbex and HyImpulse, have been awarded a combined 6.7 million British pounds ($8.4 million) to advance their plans for carbon-neutral operations.

The funds are coming from the UK Space Agency via the 22-nation European Space Agency (ESA) Boost program to promote mini-launcher development in continental Europe.
