Satellogic: Market tailwinds continue in Q1, rev up 80%, new constellation, paid by customer, deploys starting in October

AMSTERDAM — Satellite geospatial imagery constellation operator Satellogic reported an 80% increase in revenue in the three months ending March 31 compared to a year earlier, a reduced EBITDA loss and a cash balance of $129 million, up 29% from Dec. 31.

Driving home the company’s renewed focus on the defense and intelligence markets, Satellogic hired retired Vice Admiral Frank D. Whitworth III, former director of the US National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), as a strategic advisor.
