Rocket Lab uncertain of economic merit of Electron rocket reuse; no decision on Scotland

LUXEMBOURG — Startup launch-service provider Rocket Lab LLC is determined to increase its launch rate to a twice-a-week rhythm but is uncertain whether reuse of rocket hardware makes sense even at that cadence.

U.S.-based Rocket Lab, which launches out of a dedicated New Zealand spaceport and plans to operate from Wallops Island in the United States as well, said that while its hardware is easily reusable, the economics of reuse are uncertain.
