Rheinmetall outlines JV with OHB, plus Airbus as production partner, for $10-billion military satcom constellation

LA PLATA, Maryland — German defense hardware builder Rheinmetall AG said it fully expects the German military to move forward rapidly with a secure satellite communications constellation of 100-200 satellites with a full network value of between 8 billion and 10 billion euros ($9.3-$11.6 billion).
