Maxar’s Legion satellites delayed again, to March-June 2022; co. books $300M USG contract extension, Sirius XM-9 order

UPDATE Aug. 24: Maxar announced Aug. 24 that it had won a new order from Sirius XM Satellite Holdings, for the SXM-10 satellite. The order follows the order earlier in the month for the SXM-9 satellite.

CUNCY-LES-VARZY, France — Maxar Technologies Inc. again postponed the launch of its first Legion 30-cm-resolution optical imaging satellites, saying the issues that had caused an earlier delay had not yet been fully resolved.
