SES sees says video prices holding firm, sees trend in slower video decline; reports 14% increase in government revenue

CUNCY-LES-VARZY, France — Satellite fleet operator SES asked investors to see proof in the company’s H1 financial results that it had slowed the decline of its video business, even if flattening it is a ways off.

SES said video, which accounts for 60% of the company’s total revenue, was down just 3.2% in the three months ending June 30 and 3.9% for the first six months of 2021, compared to an 8% decline a year ago.
