UPDATE Feb. 14: After contracts with OneWeb (Ku) and SES Networks (O3b mPower Ka), Marlink on Feb. 14 announced it extended its 2019 agreement with Eutelsat for Ku-band capacity totaling several hundred MHz on Eutelsat satellites over the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe, "with specific levels of throughput to specific sailing areas."
UPDATE Feb. 9: This story was updated to reflect Marlink's multi-year contract with SES for capacity on the O3b mPower constellation of medium-Earth-orbit satellites.
