Indonesia’s PSN wins bidding for 150-gbps HTS satellite, to be built by Thales Alenia Space

UPDATE July 1: A PSN-led consortium named Satelit Nusantara Tiga (SNT) has contracted with Thales Alenia Space for the 150-Gbps Ka-band SATRIA satellite, to be launched to 146 degrees East in late 2022.

The contract includes an all-electric Spacebus NEO platform, the main and backup satellite control centers, training of Indonesian engineers at Thales Alenia Space's Toulouse, and Cannes, France, facilities, and the ground mission segment for the satellite's fifth-generation digital payload.
