Australia’s EOS creates US company to manage MEO-orbit data relay network; regulatory deadlines approach

PARIS — Australia’s Electro Optic Systems (EOS) confirmed its intention to build a three-satellite, medium-Earth-orbit constellation for data-relay services to allied military customers and commercial users, a $1 billion network whose regulatory requirements will force EOS to move fast.
