AsiaSat, Measat, Optus weigh pros & cons of GEO HTS ownership vs partnering with LEO constellation

PARIS — Stymied by regulatory limits that make industry consolidation impossible, East Asian satellite fleet operators are looking for a path between an all-in investment in their own HTS satellites and sticking with their low-growth broadcast businesses as broadband LEO constellations come knocking.
