PARIS— French President Emmanuel Macron said France would promote an “ambitious” three-year spending program at November’s ministerial conference of the 23-nation European Space Agency (ESA) and said it would reinforce partnerships with Germany, Italy and Britain.
In a video message sent during his flight from the G7 conference in Canada to Paris June 18 to celebrate ESA’s 50th anniversary, Macron also said he would outline France’s new space policy during a June 20 address at the Paris air show.
