TUPPER LAKE, NY — French and German associations representing NewSpace companies urged the European Commission to provide industry with a clear assessment of European government launch demand in the coming years to stimulate government and private investment.
In a letter dated Aug. 31 sent to European Defence and Space Commissioner Andrius Kubilius, Alliance NewSpace France and the NewSpace Initiative of the Federation of Federation of German Industries (BDI), said Europe’s launcher sector needs public-sector validation before committing the needed resources.
