Thales: Space division on growth track 2020-2025, not counting Telesat; bid activity high for GEO and constellation work

PARIS — Thales Group said its Thales Alenia Space (TAS) division’s revenue is on track to grow by 35% between 2020 and 2025, reaching 2.5 billion euros ($3 billion), not including any contribution from the Telesat Lightspeed constellation work.

Thales Group bundles its space and avionics business into a single division and does not report separate financial metrics. But Thales Group Chief Financial Officer Pascal Bouchiat said the space division’s revenue for the six months ending June 30 is up nearly 40% from a year . . .
