Smallsat builder/service provider AAC Clyde: EBITDA positive in Q1, revenue up 79%, backlog up 16%; more debt to fund growth

LAMPOLDSHAUSEN, Germany — Small satellite manufacturer and data-service provider AAC Clyde Space reported positive EBITDA for the three months ending March 31, 2023, in line with the company’s promise to be EBITDA-positive for the full year.

Revenue for Q1 2023 was 73.9 million Swedish krona ($7.2 million), up 79% from a year ago, with EBITDA of 1.7 million krona against a negative 7.6 million krona a year ago.

Backlog was up 16.5%, to 460.2 million krona.
