Satellite lasercom terminal provider Mynaric exits German Chapter 11; Rocket Lab acquisition, EU Iris2 eligibility TBD

LA PLATA, Maryland — Satellite optical intersatellite-link terminal builder Mynaric AG has exited Germany’s Chapter 11, called StaRUG, with substantially reduced debt and a new majority shareholder in JVH-Holding GmbH.

JVH-Holding had been Mynaric’s principal creditor and had agreed to waive $105 million in debt, plus interest, in exchange for a controlling interest post-StaRUG.

“With this milestone, Mynaric has secured access to long-term funding and a strengthened financial foundation through its new principal shareholder, JVF-Holding GmbH,” Mynaric said . . .
