Planet: We’ll be EBITDA-positive by end 2024, even if we have to slow new satellite production to get there

SEVILLE, Spain — Satellite Earth observation data and service provider Planet Labs said it’s on track to become EBITDA-profitable by the end of 2024 as the company moves toward a higher-profit, satellite-as-a-service model in addition to its base business of providing imagery from its in-orbit fleet.

The company said its expanded sales teams, with an eye on the profitability goal, are now focusing on fewer deals with larger revenue and margin impact.
