LA PLATA, Maryland — The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) has agreed to purchase four 25-cm-resolution radar satellites and both fixed and mobile ground stations from Iceye of Finland — a turnkey intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance package — in a contract announced on the eve of hosting a summit of the 32-nation NATO alliance.
The contract, announced June 23, includes RNALF access to data from Iceye’s current constellation of SAR satellites. It will be the country’s first operational military satellite mission and reflects the new urgency European . . .
