Non-US contribution to Golden Dome? The program manager says the end-2028 deadline means ‘we need to explore it’

LA PLATA, Maryland — If there’s ever been a program that would appear to be off limits for non-US contractors, Golden Dome is it.

The planned missile-defense shield over the United States and perhaps Canada has been described as a Manhattan Project-scale effort with an estimated budget of $175 billion and an initial deployed network by the end of 2028. Any US company with any capability in the multiple components Golden Dome will need is lining up to be considered.
