Maritime SigInt provider Unseenlabs on its ‘mono satellite’ technology and the shortage of launchers

PARIS — Satellite maritime signals-intelligence service provider Unseenlabs said the lack of available launch capacity for its small satellites, operating in a 500-600-kilometer polar sun-synchronous orbit, has become a roadblock to growth.

France-based Unseenlabs has eight satellites in orbit and expects to launch two more in the coming months and another six, perhaps later this year. The company is building its own payloads. The satellite buses are provided by GomSpace of Denmark and Sweden.
