Kepler purchases up to 52 Tesat-Spacecom optical terminals for initial 26-satellite Aether S- and Ku-band constellation

PARIS — Startup satellite constellation operator Kepler Communications of Canada has contracted for up to 52 laser communication terminals from Germany's  Tesat-Spacecom for an initial 26-satellite tranche for Kepler’s Aether constellation.

Aether is a generic name for several networks totaling well over 100,000 satellites in low Earth orbit that Kepler has registered with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) through Germany’s Federal Network Agency, Bundesnetzagentur: https://bit.ly/3qNDJtk
