Iridium for the masses? Personal communications devices star in company’s Q2 financials

PARIS — Mobile satellite services provider Iridium Communications Inc.’s financial results showed a company that already sped past the Covid pandemic, with growth in its maritime, aero and land-mobile businesses.

Satellite services companies that don’t usually talk about IoT have pointed out in recent weeks that this narrowband user category has shown robust health.
