Eutelsat outlines Russian business; says it’s owed $37M by International Launch Services; Quantum satellite now sold out

PARIS — Eutelsat’s proposed takeover of the OneWeb broadband satellite constellation operator under terms that the market has found unpersuasive obscured the company’s year-end financial results, including details about Eutelsat’s engagements in Russia.

Most of those engagements related to television program, but one is an unpaid bill from International Launch Services, a U.S.-based company that markets Russia’s Proton rocket.

In the year ending June 30, Eutelsat generated about 78 million euros ($78 million) from Russian broadcast customers . . .
