Eutelsat: Hanging on in broadcast & betting that GEO beats LEO in consumer broadband (It’s the terminals)

PARIS — Satellite fleet operator Eutelsat said its core broadcast business is holding steady — no growth, but no real decline — by virtue of its small exposure to the United States and a focus on emerging markets, and is generating more than enough cash to fund the company’s move into consumer and mobile broadband, and a smallsat IoT business.
