British Defence Ministry invites Airbus, Babcock, BT & Serco to compete for satcom service contract

PARIS— The British Defence Ministry, still running the Skynet 6 military satcom program at a glacial pace, invited four companies to bid on a six-year transition period between today’s Skynet 5 and the next-generation Skynet 6.
