BALTIMORE — All three heads of the space companies considering a merger — Airbus Defence and Space, Leonardo Space and Thales Alenia Space — assessed their possible consolidation in highly favorable terms in what may be a signal of its likelihood.
In remarks delivered Sept. 9 during the Space Forum, organized in Toulouse, France, by the French economics daily, La Tribune, the three companies, perhaps for the first time, accented the positive effects and downplayed any drawbacks.
